Crosswind Farm Rules, Policies, and Helpful Information

Event Times: Do NOT arrive early to any event as our staff has a ton of set up to do. We ask that you stay in your car if you do arrive early.

No private parties during our public events: No table cloths, cupcakes, cakes, food, drinks, or any outside food permitted during these events. If you book the venue for a Birthday party all of that is allowed. We’ve had many people try to use the public events as a party venue during the public events and that’s not permitted.

No pets allowed at the farm: As much as we love your pets we ask that NO outside pets be brought to the farm during any events for private parties. We have too many animals ourselves and it’s too hard to predict how your pets will be around our pets. Thanks for understanding.

No outside food allowed for our animals: For the safety of our animals we ask that you not bring ANY outside food in to feed our animals. We sell very reasonably priced food for our animals. This does not apply to Birthday parties where you are allowed to bring food for the animals.

Parking is anywhere in front of the house. The venue is in the back where activities are.

Waivers: Please stop by the waiver tables and fill out a waiver form before proceeding to the registration table where you pay. Every person in your party has to be written on the liability waiver before you can participate in any activities, petting animals, playing on playground equipment, jumping on inflatables etc.

Methods of payment: We accept cash and credit cards. If you prepaid for your tickets online there’s no need to print them. All we need is your last name to register your family.

Ticket Pricing: EVERYONE 2-17 will be required to pay to enter the farm. Adults over 18 are free to all of our events.

Ticket Refund Policy/Birthday Party Deposit Policy: If you purchase a ticket online and are unable to use it we allow to transfer your ticket to someone else but we do NOT offer refunds. If an event rains out and we contact you via text or make an announcement we will allow you to switch your ticket for the same amount the ticket was purchased for to attend another event. If you pay a deposit for a Birthday party and it rains out we do offer a refund. That’s the only refunds we honor. If there’s sickness, mind change, etc we do not offer refunds on Birthday party deposits. If it’s something out of your control we can try to reschedule though we cannot promise a reschedule since we are very booked on the weekends.

SC Equine Law: Under South Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from an inherent risk of equine activity, pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 9 of Title 47, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976.

Petting Zoo Disclosure: Please be aware you are coming to a petting zoo with live animals and as trained as our animals are they are still animals. Our farm will not be held responsible for any injuries while your are visiting the farm.

Parents/Guardians: Please do NOT let children run around unattended. Our staff are there to walk your children around on horses, drive them in the train, serve food, help with registration but we are not responsible for your children. If a child or adult is rough with an animal or another person we will ask our security team to ask you to leave without a refund. You will be coming to a working farm so be aware as much as our staff keep poop cleaned up there’s always the possibility you’ll see some. This does freak people out. If you see any not scooped please let a staff member know and we’ll get it. Poop happens.

Equipment: Please have your children take their shoes off when jumping on the inflatables, treat the toys, playground equipment with care. If you see anything that needs attention please let a staff member know.

Language: We don’t allow cursing, belittling, bullying, or any negative words towards people or animals.

Smoke/Alcohol: We are a family atmosphere and we do not allow smoking/drinking during our events.
